We took a trip to the beach and low and beyond there was an empty life guard tower in the small cove at corona del mar. The sun was just getting ready to set and so I thought I'd give a shot at some cool sun shots. The first turned out pretty good.  I then took it home and stripped away the color by taking the saturation to 0. I then used a "lense filter" though electronic and selected sepia. I turned the sepia up to maximum and really liked what I got. So then i just kind of shaded the corners for some dramatic effect and this is what I got.  It was actually fairly simple, i was surprised but the effect was awesome. I really like how it turned out, in fact I liked ti so much I did it similarly with another shot.  This is a great Tutorial that dramatizes a cool picture of what they call "a professional woman". Take a look below at the tutorial rsults:  I couldn't really find a good picture that I thought would apply so i decided on this mafia looking car. The Urban Me Project! This is something I've been dying to learn how to do until I found it! The Urban tutorial, I didn't follow this one exactly as it said but rather did my own thing with my own picture. This is another cool tutorial that I came across. It really helped me better understand layer masking and how to lighten and darken only certain parts of my pictures. This is a cool tutorial that I came across. I had never heard of lomo photography but thought this tutorial was pretty cool.  Essentially there is some type of camera that will do this effect automatically, It's actually trademarked by some austrian company. Below is my shot at it, i thought it could do interesting things on people so I used a picture with people in it.
